Impossible to clean and outer fabric is getting holes in it after only 4 months of usage.
I usually buy a different brand for my kids’ outerwear but we needed a whole new winter set for my 7 (now 8) year old daughter this winter and so we drove over to Boyne Country Sports (love that place!) and loved this Kiiruna waterproof jacket. This coat is super cute and we were in love but quickly realized that everything seems to stain the coat and it does not come off with washing. She relocated a small branch off the path of the ski hill her first time wearing the coat skiing and it got some greenish/black stains on the arms and body of the coat from the stick. I immediately tried to wipe them off with no luck. I washed the coat when we got home that night- no luck. Soaked each stain with every stain remover I have and washed it again - still no luck. Fast forward 2 months and the coat looks terrible with staining EVERYWHERE. Not to mention the sleeves are getting holes in the fabric where her gloves meet the sleeve for some reason! Normally she wears her coats for 2 seasons and then we pass them down and our neighbor’s daughter wears them another 2 seasons before we lose track of them and the previous brand I always bought has washed up great and been worthy of passing down. This coat doesn’t even look promising to last through a second season. Disappointing since I paid $170 for it expecting it to last. I will not be buying anything Reima brand for my kids again.

Big but well made
Wonderful details. Extremely large, kept it due to time constraints and know she can wear it a couple seasons because the quality is so good.

Great coat
Between our children this is our 6th or 7th Reima ski coat. Year after year they keep us warm on the slopes! My little one loves the colors and I’m confident it will keep her cozy and dry all winter.

Excellent winter ski jacket. Keeps my daughter warm and dry. Fits perfectly. Beautiful design. Zipper can be a bit tricky sometimes but she can do it up herself once we figured out the best way to zip it.

Kiiruna Jacket Runs Very Large
I bought the Kiiruna Jacket in a size 6 thinking it would be the perfect size and hoping it wouldn't be too small. On the contrary, it's huge. I'm not even sure a size 5 would be small enough. Frustrating since i'd like to exchange it but not sure which size to select. I also bought the Wingon ski pants in a size 6 at the same time and they are a perfect fit on my slim 7 1/2 year old. The Kiiruna looks and feels like a great quality ski jacket but haven't been able to try due to sizing issue.

Not up to usual Reima quality
I bought this jacket for my daughter and the zipper broke after only wearing it a couple of times. Like it would not zip at all, no matter what we tried. I was able to exchange it for another and while the zipper is still working, I can tell it might not last. The zipper is made from a very pliable plastic and has tiny "teeth," making it prone to getting stuck. We've already had issues with my daughter not being able to get it zipped or having the zipper come apart at the bottom while it is still zipped at the top. The zipper is much too cheaply made for a winter ski coat and does not compare in quality to other kids ski coats that we have bought from other companies. It's sad because the rest of the jacket seems very nice and the pattern is really cute.

Great quality jacket, runs way big
My daughter is getting into 3T clothing and based on other Reims products we’ve had in the past, I bought a 2T in this thinking I’d order a smaller size but it’d run big so we’d be fine but the sleeves and length of the coat were soooo long we couldn’t even get by with cuffing them. Bummer since we love Reima products and it would’ve been an awesome coat!
