    Great quality, but snug to get on

    These boots feel well-made and look great. I’m not sure if they would be warm enough for our cold winters in Canada, but I was willing to try. My daughter had a difficult time, pulling them onto her feet. I figured I would rather play it safe and not deal with frustrations in the winter putting on boots. I returned them for this reason. I would like to recommend black instead of white on the boot, as I feel, this could get stained easily. Perhaps with a few modifications, I would re-order.

    Stylish and warm shoes

    The best winter boots

    Not good!! Really bad shoe!

    The shoe did not fit the child's foot even though a size two larger than the normal shoe was taken. Really tight around the ankle, the heel does not go into the shoe at all!

    Warmer winter shoe

    I bought size 38 for myself (adult person). The shoes are quite okay. The sole is a bit stiff. Perfect for standing around in the snow. Not so suitable for longer walks, the lacing can't be tightened optimally. The foot slips and tends to develop pressure points.

    New favorite winter boot

    Recently got these as my kid outgrew his size three winter boots mid-winter and needed a replacement suitable for nature based school (outside in well below freezing for multiple hours a day). Read about the warning from some reviews about a tight fit/ hard to put on and also ordered another boot to pick the one that fits better just in case. Kid tried on the Megapito boots and immediately fell in love. Says so easy to put on, comfortable, warm outside at school, keeps the snow out, and loves the flexible shaft. We’ll buy it again in another size next year (as long as kid needs a size that’s available).

    Excellent shoe

    Warm but not what I expected.

    The feet are really warm. But it is truly a challenge to get your feet into these. Extremely thin in the calf and above the ankle. My boy gets frustrated every time these have to be worn. With winter clothes, wool socks, and wool underwear, this will be a purchase I will never make again. However, they are waterproof and warm. You can do better, Reima.

    Almost good product & poor service

    Product itself looks well sewn, has good colour and interesting design, but it’s way too narrow in the calf area. Kid is exhausted while trying to put boots on and same exhaustion appears when boots need to be worn off. Plus, even though I took measures, size was smaller and if kid puts thicker socks, boots aren’t wearable at all. Delivery service was super long. From Poland to Latvia it took 15 days. And since size didn’t fit, I’ve sent boots back and paid extra 15€ for that. Not satisfied at all with whole process.

    Warm but cramped!

    The shoes seem to keep the child's feet warm; no other shoes have held the warmth. BUT the shoes are terribly tight to put on; our boy is thin with slim calves, and yet it's a struggle to get his foot in, disappointing considering they're quite expensive. The daycare also thinks these take a long time to put on, but we need them to keep warm. The loops on the side don’t help with getting the shoes on; they are quite high and soft on the calf, which makes it tricky to get the foot properly in. If you have a child with somewhat chunky calves, they probably won’t have a chance to get their foot into these!

    Too narrow for the catch

    The boots' shafts are so narrow that they can't be worn at all. You can only put on very thin socks; no thicker ones can get through the shaft of the shoe. The pant legs ride up so that half of the lower leg is bare. How can there be such a flawed design in these shoes? If somehow, with gritted teeth, you manage to force the shoes on, then they're okay; you can walk in them.
