    Light and warm

    Reima Minimega

    Warm winter boots, my child fell in love with these immediately. The loops on the shaft make it nice and easy to put the shoes on, as they provide a good grip. A slight downside is the relatively tight shaft and the fairly hard material of the outsole, which I think slightly reduces the grip of the shoes on icy surfaces, but my child (2.5 years old) has still managed to stay upright in them very well. Lovely colors and I will almost certainly get the same shoes for next winter as well.

    Otherwise, it would definitely be a functioning shoe, but the shaft is just really narrow. So a wool sock and a wool overall hardly fit in between at all.

    I received broken shoes

    I ordered these shoes online and noticed that they started to shed stuffing from the seam. I took pictures and made a complaint, but while waiting for a response, we used the shoes because we didn't have any other winter shoes for our child at that time. We were not able to return the defective shoes because they had been used. They were in use for a few days. Even if they broke quickly during use (this soon), we should normally have been able to file a complaint. Therefore, I cannot recommend Reima. If the product breaks quickly, it cannot be claimed.

    Good shoes

    I bought shoes for a nearly 3-year-old. In colder weather, the child needs wool socks (thin + thick) for the shoes, but otherwise, the shoes are excellent and keep the toes dry and warm. With the wool socks, you have to force the shoes on a bit, because even though I ordered a generous size for the length of the foot, the shaft is a bit tight. Putting them on by oneself with winter gear, especially with thick gloves, is otherwise not possible, even though it has been made easy in these shoes.
