Toddler & Kids' Ski Suits
A ski suit is jacket and pants in one piece, so nothing rides up when a kid lands hard. Waterproof, breathable ReimaTec keeps kids dry from first lift to last run.

All set for action
The snow won't wait, so you better be ready when it comes. The ergonomic cut in the Skaulo ski suit makes sure your child is free to move while the elastic, adjustable snow locks keep the snow outside. Complete comfort and warmth, from first lift to last light.
On a lift day a ski suit is one garment to get on instead of two. That matters most for the youngest skiers - the ones who still need a hand getting dressed and who spend as much of the day sitting in snow as standing on skis. Once kids are older and want to manage their own layers, a ski jacket and pants do the same job with more flexibility.

Our ski suits run 2T through 14Y (Skaulo starts at 4T). Every suit has 5-8 cm (2-3 inches) of room to grow, so take your child's current size and size up only if they're between two. A ski suit should be roomy enough for a base layer and a light fleece underneath without bunching at the knees. Check the size charts for height ranges.
All three keep snow out. The difference is what they're cut for:
|
One-piece or two |

What sets it apart |
|
Ski suit |
Lift days and the slopes |
Snow locks at the ankles, a cut that moves with boots and bindings, reinforced where edges and lifts wear gear |
|
Snowsuit |
Tobogganing, recess, forest school, the walk to daycare |
The everyday one-piece - from 9 months, and abrasion-resistant where kids slide and kneel |
|
Snow pants and bibs |
Older kids in a separate jacket |
Removable suspenders, bib coverage over the chest and back, and sizes to 14Y |
Layers do the warming; the suit keeps weather out and heat in. Merino next to the skin does the most work, because wool keeps its warmth even after a child has worked up a sweat.
-
Merino or thermal base layer next to skin, top and bottom
-
Fleece mid-layer on cold days, left off when it's mild and they're moving
-
One pair of wool socks - two pairs make ski boots tight and feet cold
-
Mittens rather than gloves for small hands, and a balaclava that fits under a helmet
Every Reima ski suit is made from safe, non-toxic materials with no added PFAS - the forever chemicals that don't break down in the environment.
It's also built to last. Reinforced where lifts and edges wear gear, with room to grow built in, one suit covers several ski seasons and then goes to the next skier in the family - buy well once, buy less often.
Reima has made outdoor clothing for kids, and only for kids, for more than 80 years - in a country where kids ski before they can read. That is what we mean by gear that enables an active childhood. In 2026 USA Today named Reima one of the Brands Most Trusted By Parents.
Both are one-piece and waterproof. A ski suit adds ankle snow locks, a cut that moves with ski boots and reinforced wear areas. A snowsuit is the everyday version for tobogganing and play.
Yes - rated from 10,000 mm up, with every seam taped. The material is windproof and breathable too, so perspiration escapes instead of collecting inside the suit.
Both of our ski suits, Reach and Skaulo, have warm insulation rated roughly 0 to -20°C (35 to -5°F). That assumes a moving child with a base layer underneath.
Your child's usual size - every ski suit has 5-8 cm (2-3 inches) of growing room. Between two sizes, take the larger one. Height ranges are on the size charts.
Both. Reima ski suits are unisex: one cut, one set of features, and every colour open to any child. It's also why a suit can be handed down to whoever skis next.
