Both materials are great rain jackets; they're fully waterproof, even zippers and seams, and neither had added PFAs.
ReimaTec is more versatile and can be worn in all seasons. It is breathable, so kids don't get stuffy during outdoor play.
Rubber rain is made specifically for rain and mud play. Dirt and grime roll right off but it's not as good for active play.
How to choose the right size?
Reima jackets have 2-3 inches of room for growth, so that they fit for more than just one year. The extra room also allows for active play and movement. Therefore, they have a roomy fit. We recommend buying the size corresponding to your child's age. Size down if your child is small for their age.
